[REVIEW] Laneige Water Sleeping Mask

Finally I got a chance trying out this Laneige Water Sleeping Mask, that is absolutely everyone's favorite sleeping mask. Honestly, I've been eyeing on this since its first debut in 2015. However, I haven't even bought one, because I'm not a fan of face-mask though. But after reading a lot of positive reviews about Laneige Water Sleeping Mask, most of people believe it can help to rehydrate and rebalance the skin that is suffered from dry and dull problems due to lack of sleep - exactly like mine. So guess what... I definitely have to try one!

Laneige Water Sleeping Mask comes in the blue jar with a spatula (for more hygienic product usage). The texture is like a gel-cream, that will be melted right away on the face. In the first 10 seconds, there's a cooling sensation which I love the most. Then, it will be absorbed and leaves the skin well-hydrated without feels sticky at all!


HOW TO USE
1. After cleansing the face in the night time, put on some toner, moisturiser and serum
2. Scoop the mask using spatula as much needed (diameter 2,5cm), then make some dots for every part on the face; nose, cheeks, chin and forehead.
3. Gently spread the mask all over the face with outward massaging motion.
4. After the mask perfectly absorbed, just let it sit on the skin for a night and wash it in the next morning.


I wonder why is this product become one of the best-selling sleeping mask, even the company stated that its sold in every 12 seconds worldwide. Since April 2015, they also has incorporate the latest technology into this product, including:

I've been using this for about two weeks. I love how the result can be seen immediately in just a single night. My skin feels really smooth, firm and supple every time I woke up. As the recommendation, I used this regularly for about 2-3 times a week and I noticed a huge improvement, not only its enhances the hydration but also perfectly makes my skin looking way healthier and brighter, just like Korean women. But still long way to be as good as Song Hye Kyo's, hahaha.

[WISHLIST] Summer Fashion 2017 | Romwe Fashion

Its always summer in Indonesia! Since I'm going to Bali again, nearly soon. I've gathered some of summer fashion wishlist to create few looks, that I would love to wear on those sunny and hot days. Beside keeping up with the latest trend, what I look for in a summer outfit would probably - first it must be comfortable, then the colour combination should be pastel and bright colour.

LOOK 1

In this look, I play around with pastel colour - such as blue and blush for the ruffle dress and mini bag, additionally with gold accent for the hair pin and strap sandals that's really stylish and summer-friendly. This such a perfect look for summer day to night, from the beach to pool party.


LOOK 2

On the other hand, this look seems more comfy and cheerful compared to the first one. I'm in love with the tied-details on both sides of this cropped top, I believe its latest fashion trend! Apart from the comfy part, this looks really stylish paired with pineapple printed slippers, yellow mini bag and statement earrings. This could be a perfect look for just chilling by the beach or going for brunch.

[REVIEW] Avene Eau Thermal Spring Water Spray, Mineral Cream SPF 50+ and Nourishing Lip Balm

From the last event, 'Eau Thermale Avene X Galleries Lafayette' with Clozette Indonesia - Live Makeup Demo: "Makeup Tips for Your Sensitive Skin", I brought home three of the best products from Avene, including Avene Eau Thermal Spring Water Spray, Avene Very High Protection Mineral Cream SPF 50+ and Avene Nourishing Lip Balm - that I'm going to review in this post.



A short background of Avene, All the Avene products has been categorized as dermo-cosmetology, which is the combination of cosmetic and pharmacy products. Its claimed to have active properties that could effectively take care and maintain the healthy skin, especially for sensitive skin types. 

AVENE EAU THERMALE SPRING WATER SPRAY

Avene Eau Thermal Spring Water Spray is one of the most popular amongst Avene skin care products. It comes in a spray can, used as a face mist to naturally soothe, soften and calm the skin. It also popular with its benefit to reduce skin sensitivity and helps restore skin balance - especially for post-workout, travel, outdoor activities, prepping the skin before makeup, setting the makeup, or basically to freshen up the skin.


AVENE HIGH PROTECTION MINERAL CREAM SPF 50+

Living in a tropical climate made me aware to incorporate SPF products into daily skincare, cause whether we stay indoor or outdoor for most of the day, the UVA and UVB Rays could reach in any direction. So its better to put on SPF to prevent the early aging, such as dark spots and uneven skin tone. 

This time, I found Avene High Protection Mineral Cream SPF 50+ that has become one of the most popular SPF for the sensitive skin type due to its non chemical ingredients. It also has been tested and recommended by professional dermatologist, safe to be used in everyday basis.

For me personally, I love to use this as a makeup base, cause it has a light texture yet no sticky at all. In a small amount of product, it could cover my entire face. Not forget to mention, its pinkish tone also perfectly smoothen and brighten up my skin complexion.


AVENE NOURISHING LIP BALM

Lip balm is absolutely one of my must haves beauty products, I used to apply it as a lip balm or base for lipstick - to prevent dry lips and flaky lipstick. However, not all the lip balms suit my lips very well, sometimes I found it feels sticky and greasy which made me uncomfortable. Luckily, Avene Nourishing Lip Balm works really well on my lips, the texture is really lightweight yet able to moisturize my lips all day. With added SPF and Vit E, this could nourish and make my lips looking way healthier, plumpier and fuller.

[EVENT REPORT] Makeup Tips for Your Sensitive Skin with Avéne

Earlier this month, exactly on April, 8th 2017 - I attended 'Eau Thermale Avene X Galleries Lafayette' at Pacific Place Jakarta with my fellow bloggers from Clozette Indonesia. The event was having Live Makeup Demo: "Makeup Tips for Your Sensitive Skin" with Jerry Pravda (MUA) and Radhini (Singer) as a model.

Before the makeup demo began, Mba Devi from Avene stated, "Avéne will always providing high quality products recommended by professional dermatologist to fulfil the needs of users, not only to enhance the makeup looks but also used as a skincare, especially for those who has sensitive skin."

In this case, Mas Jerry Pravda will incorporate Avene products as a part of live makeup demo. Avene products used, including Avene Micellar Lotion; Avene Eau Thermal Spring Water Spray; Avene Light Hydrating Cream; Avene Very High Protection Mineral Cream SPF 50+; and Avene Nourishing Lip Balm.


First thing first, Mas Jerry used Avene Micellar Lotion to clean Radhini's face from the makeup, pollution, sebums and dirts.


Then, he sprayed Avene Eau Thermal Spring Water Spray all over Radhini's face to hydrate and make the makeup stays longer.


Followed by using Avene Light Hydrating Cream and Avene Very High Protection Mineral Cream SPF 50+ as a makeup base, at the same time to nourish and take care of the skin from UVA and UVB.

After all the prepping process by using Avene products, Mas Jerry started his makeup firstly from the eyeliner. I guess this is something new, since mostly people put on the eyeliner after the eyeshadow done. He said that, by drawing the eyeliner first, it could make a guideline for the perfect eye makeup.

As you can see, the eye makeup by Mas Jerry seems perfectly done. Last but not least, he also used Avene Nourishing Lip balm to moisturize the lips, before put on the lipstick - and finish up the look with Avene Eau Thermal Spring Water Spray to make the makeup longlasting.

Tadaaa.. This is the result of makeup by Mas Jerry for Radhini. I really in love with this look, it seems simple and natural, perfectly enhance the beauty of Radhini's face.

Going Casual in Pastel Pink

I'm always a fan of everything pink. When it comes to fashion, pastel pink will always be my choice after monochrome and nudes. I love to pair my pastel pink with white outfit, cause the combination somehow enhances the look of romantic, softness and femininity, at the same time managed to balance things out for more harmonious looks.



For today's outfit, I decided to go casual in pastel look, including white asymmetrical top, pastel pink pleated pants and pointed nude mules to match everything's up. This outfit also perfect for summer time! I feel so comfy and chic, especially in my pleated pants cause it has stretchy material, yet still looking chic in pastel pink colour and pleated texture.

Mon Guerlain, The New Guerlain Perfume

On Saturday I visited the Guerlain booth in front of SOGO dept store, Plaza Senayan, Jakarta Selatan. Me and my fellow bloggers from Clozette Indonesia were having so much fun trying out the new perfume by Guerlain, Mon Guerlain. 


One of the Gurlain staff explained us about the whole concept of Mon Guerlain. This is known as a tribute to today's femininity: a strong, free and sensual femininity, as inspired by Angelina Jolie as its brand ambassador. Jolie was actually never worked with any beauty or fragrance product, so we could say this is her very first partnership with perfume which is Mon Guerlain by Guerlain. 

What makes this perfume so special is because she loves nature and anything raw, it could be smelled through Mon Guerlain with the fresh oriental fragrance that enhances exceptional raw meterials: Carla Lavender from Provence, Sambac Jasmine from India, Album Sandalwood from Australia and Vanilla Tahitensis from Papua New Guinea. The overall blend creates such a beautiful smell. Lavender is the smell of summer that fresh and sweet. Alongside with vanilla and sandalwood together creates a perfect harmony, the result is a clash of soft, sweet, powdery and unique woodiness scent that creates an interesting texture of all. [EVENT REPORT AND REVIEW] You Can Be Everything You Want to Be with Lactacyd Herbal

Last week, exactly on April 18th 2017, I attended Female Daily and Lactacyd Blogger Gathering with the theme "Women Are Special, Be Everything You Want to Be". This special event take place in Tanamera Coffee Ahmad Dahlan, Jakarta Selatan in the early morning 9AM. Beside having some of the beauty bloggers and influencers, the event were also having Donita as Lactacyd Brand Ambassador and Anna Surti Ariani as Psychologist - to gather for the launch of new variant Lactacyd Herbal and a small 'womens-talk' about the roles, dreams, struggles and how to overcome those struggles.

I do agree with her statement, everything will be easy when we have a confidence around us, and we can be everything we want to be!

I've been eyeing on a good sugar body scrubs lately, this time I'm trying one of the Yves Rocher scrubs in Mandarin-Lemon-Cedar scent. Honestly I love the smell so much. It has tangy and sweet hint from a perfect blend of mandarin orange, lemon and cedar. Not forget to mention, it does perfect to scrub my entire body. Fyi, this could be use for every skin types, even the sensitive ones - cause the particle on the scrubs are really tiny so it will gently removing dead skin cells from the skin's surface without feeling soreness or redness. Leaves my skin feeling soft, smooth, and of course well perfumed. The product claims to use this at least twice a week for optimum result.

[REVIEW, TUTORIAL AND GIVEAWAY] Ombre Lips by Using The Balm Pickup Liners and Meet Matt(e) Hughes

Finally I got a chance trying out the lipstick line from The Balm Cosmetics, after so many positive reviews about it! This time, The Balm and Clozette Indonesia kindly sent me 3 shades from Pickup Liners and 1 shade of Meet Matt(e) Hughes.

So in this post, beside revealing my mini review, I'm also going to share a simple and easy tutorial to make an ombre lips by using; The Balm Pickup Liners and Meet Matt(e) Hughes. 


I decided to make a pink ombre lips, which will be using darker or more vibrant red shade for the lip liner and soft pink shade for the middle part. Here are my picks! 

THE BALM PICKUP LINERS 


The Balm Pickup Liners is a pencil type of lipstick, completed with the sharpener on the other side. These are perfect to line and define the lips due to its pigmented formula, and creamy enough to fill in the whole area of my lips. I also found this lip liners are very long-lasting and waterproof, so it won't smudge during the day. 

The Balm Pickup Liners come in 8 pretty shades. I got mine in the shade; 'ACUTE ONE', 'CHEMISTRY', and 'CHECKING YOU OUT' 


THE BALM MEET MATT(E) HUGHES 


One of the best-selling products from The Balm Cosmetics are definitely The Balm Meet Matt(e) Hughes. Its basically a liquid lipstick in matte finish. I'm in love with its pigmented formula and creamy texture, making it easy and comfortable for daily use - plus it smells sooo good, just like a vanilla mint that somehow reminds me with my childhood candy in a cigarette form, hahaha. Beside that, I also found these are very long-lasting and waterproof, even it will fade a little while eating, but the stain still be there. 

The Balm Meet Matt(e) Hughes come in 12 pretty shades, from nude to bold color. I got mine in the shade 'COMMITED'. I guess this is everyone's favorite shade! 


Now moving on to my simple yet easy ombre lips tutorial. I'm using Pickup Liners 'CHECKING YOU OUT' and Meet Matt(e) Hughes 'COMMITED'. 

1. First, outline the lip with the lip liner. 


2. Then, fill the center with the liquid lipstick, and blend it all the way. 


3. Its DONE! As you can see, it creates a nice gradation from vibrant red to pink colour.
