On Saturday I visited the Guerlain booth in front of SOGO dept store, Plaza Senayan, Jakarta Selatan. Me and my fellow bloggers from Clozette Indonesia were having so much fun trying out the new perfume by Guerlain, Mon Guerlain. 

One of the Gurlain staff explained us about the whole concept of Mon Guerlain. This is known as a tribute to today's femininity: a strong, free and sensual femininity, as inspired by Angelina Jolie as its brand ambassador. Jolie was actually never worked with any beauty or fragrance product, so we could say this is her very first partnership with perfume which is Mon Guerlain by Guerlain. 

What makes this perfume so special is because she loves nature and anything raw, it could be smelled through Mon Guerlain with the fresh oriental fragrance that enhances exceptional raw meterials: Carla Lavender from Provence, Sambac Jasmine from India, Album Sandalwood from Australia and Vanilla Tahitensis from Papua New Guinea. The overall blend creates such a beautiful smell. Lavender is the smell of summer that fresh and sweet. Alongside with vanilla and sandalwood together creates a perfect harmony, the result is a clash of soft, sweet, powdery and unique woodiness scent that creates an interesting texture of all. Even though Mon Guerlain could be classified as a light fragrance, but this stays on me for more than 5 hours. This is really perfect for everyday fragrance, for office or even an evening out.

Mon Guerlain designed in the "guadrilobe" bottle which created in 1908, and has become one of Guerlain's iconic bottle. This is beautifully made in a luxury glass weight and a golden adornment, this bottle offers a contrast between strong taut lines and sensual curves expressing contemporary femininity of a women.
