So in this post, beside revealing my mini review, I'm also going to share a simple and easy tutorial to make an ombre lips by using; The Balm Pickup Liners and Meet Matt(e) Hughes. 

I decided to make a pink ombre lips, which will be using darker or more vibrant red shade for the lip liner and soft pink shade for the middle part. Here are my picks! 

THE BALM PICKUP LINERS 

The Balm Pickup Liners is a pencil type of lipstick, completed with the sharpener on the other side. These are perfect to line and define the lips due to its pigmented formula, and creamy enough to fill in the whole area of my lips. I also found this lip liners are very long-lasting and waterproof, so it won't smudge during the day. 

The Balm Pickup Liners come in 8 pretty shades. I got mine in the shade; 'ACUTE ONE', 'CHEMISTRY', and 'CHECKING YOU OUT' 

THE BALM MEET MATT(E) HUGHES 

One of the best-selling products from The Balm Cosmetics are definitely The Balm Meet Matt(e) Hughes. Its basically a liquid lipstick in matte finish. I'm in love with its pigmented formula and creamy texture, making it easy and comfortable for daily use - plus it smells sooo good, just like a vanilla mint that somehow reminds me with my childhood candy in a cigarette form, hahaha. Beside that, I also found these are very long-lasting and waterproof, even it will fade a little while eating, but the stain still be there. 

The Balm Meet Matt(e) Hughes come in 12 pretty shades, from nude to bold color. I got mine in the shade 'COMMITED'. I guess this is everyone's favorite shade! 

Now moving on to my simple yet easy ombre lips tutorial. I'm using Pickup Liners 'CHECKING YOU OUT' and Meet Matt(e) Hughes 'COMMITED'. 

1. First, outline the lip with the lip liner. 

2. Then, fill the center with the liquid lipstick, and blend it all the way. 

3. Its DONE! As you can see, it creates a nice gradation from vibrant red to pink colour.
